Alf DVD: Season 4
ALF stands for "alien life form," and it becomes the adopted moniker of Gordon Shumway, the last known survivor of the planet Melmac; Gordon crashes his spacecraft into the garage of the Tanner family's suburban home, and is subsequently adopted by them. They must keep him out of the hands of the authorities, however, which means no one can ever know about the alien who lives with the Tanners, giving rise to many hilarious adventures. In the fourth and final season of this '80s classic, ALF almost loses baby Eric, becomes an artist, fights pollution, and catches his first cold.

The adventures of the Tanner family continue into season three, with the newest addition to the clan continuously getting into trouble. ALF--which stands for Alien Life Form--hails from the now-defunct planet Melmac, and has been adopted by the Tanners despite the fact that they must constantly work to hide his existence from friends and prying neighbors. In this collection of episodes, ALF hosts THE TONIGHT SHOW, hides from the Alien Task Force, and becomes convinced that he has discovered Elvis's whereabouts.

Alf DVD: Season 2 When Gordon Shumway's spacecraft crashed into the garage of the Tanners' suburban home, their previously ordinary lives took a bizarre turn. The last surviving citizen of his home planet Melmac, which has just been blown up, the furry, large-nosed creature has no place else to go, so the Tanners take him in, hide him from the authorities, and dub him ALF (short for Alien Life Form). Alf proceeded to crack wise about every aspect of earthling existence, while hunting the family cat and scaring the neighbors. The family was forever trying to keep the boisterous alien a secret, while he became accepted as one of the family.
