Doogie Howser, MD DVD: Season 4
Neil Patrick Harris (who eventually won a Golden Globe for the role) starred as teenage genius Doogie, who has successfully completed college and become a doctor at a very young age. While he may be smart enough to practice medicine, Doogie is still going through the process of growing up, which often conflicts with his duties. Luckily his best friend Vinnie and his sometimes-girlfriend Wanda are there to help him. In each episode Doogie learns a life lesson, which he remembers while typing on his computer journal. The fourth and final season contains popular episodes such as "You've Come a Long Way, Babysitter," "There's a Riot Going On," and "The Adventures of Sherlock Howser." In this season, Doogie deals with growing into an adult by negotiating sexual relationships, and dealing with racism, guns, child abuse, and new roommate situations.

Doogie Howser, MD DVD: Season 2
Despite its rather dubious premise, successful producers Steven Bochco (HILL STREET BLUES) and David E. Kelley (PICKET FENCES) were able to make DOOGIE HOWSER, M.D. work by creating an interesting and wholesome series about growing up in a situation both familiar and unique. Doogie Howser (Neil Patrick Harris) is a teenage genius who sped through his education to become a practicing doctor at an improbably young age. While he learns how to be an effective doctor, Doogie still has a lot of growing up to do, which sometimes causes conflicts in his duties. With the assistance of the other sympathetic doctors, and Doogie's pals Vinnie and Wanda, he manages to overcome his difficulties. The image of Doogie typing in his computer journal at the conclusion of each episode has become an iconic television image. SEASON TWO contains 25 episodes of the coming-of-age drama.
