He began the orphanage by posing as a priest, but that ruse was later exposed. In the heartwarming second season, the newlyweds go away on a honeymoon, only to meet and adopt a streetwise young orphan, Eli. The gang also get to meet Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) engage in a train chase to stop a kidnapping, order a bride for Moses, and welcome a new member to the family when Mae announces that she's pregnant.
