Sopranos: The Complete Fifth Season
The personal and professional adventures of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) unfold once again in this fifth season of episodes from the show. This time out he's officially separated from Carmela (Edie Falco), but still beset by family problems and a wandering eye that strays into some dangerous territory. This collection comprises the entire fourth season of the universally lauded HBO gangster drama, THE SOPRANOS. This season, the bodies continue to pile, as Tony (James Gandolfini) and Carmela (Edie Falco) find their marriage falling apart. Like fine wine, THE SOPRANOS only gets better with age. The terrific supporting cast features Edie Falco as Tony's beleaguered wife, Carmela; Lorraine Bracco as Tony's put-upon psychiatrist, Dr. Melfi; Michael Imperioli as loose cannon Christopher Moltisanti; Steven Van Zandt as Silvio, owner of the Bada-Bing; and the incomparable Nancy Marchand, in one of the great television performances, as Livia Soprano, Tony's conniving, controlling mother.
